Special announcements
| CRUISING FLEET CAPTAIN STILL NEEDED
We need 1-2 people to take the reins in this program. It would involve communicating with the cruisers about their needs, attending in a monthly Sailing Committee meeting during the off-season, and helping other volunteers organise individual events. Extensive cruising experience is not required.
| COMMUNITY CLUB DINGHIES
We'd like to add some dinghies (Lasers perhaps?) to our fleet, making them accessible to all full members. The model used for our existing keelboats would apply (i.e. for booking and sailor checkout). If you have a Laser you'd like to donate or would interested in using a community club dingy, please contact Peter French (his contact coordinates are available in the "Members Area").

| Beer of the Week
Do No Evil
Sake Lager – 6.0% ABV
Sake makes an apt accompaniment to its fellow fermented beverage made from grain, b?ru (beer in Japanese!) The clean presentation of a traditional lager provides the perfect backdrop for the subtle fruit and wine-like character imparted by the accents of rice and sake.
Do No Evil pours brilliant gold with a dense white foam. The aroma expresses white grape, lychee and cereal grain. The flavour imparts tannin and sweet fruit notes with a firm but balanced bitterness. The finish presents refreshing white pepper notes.| Wine of the Month
