E.S.B.
Extra Special Bitter 5.6% ABVBeau’s Farm Table Series are sessionable beers brewed true to a classic or emerging style. The E.S.B. is a flavourful, approachable ale, as much a British staple as a double- decker bus. Expect a mellow harmony of biscuity malt and slight fruity notes, along with a touch of sweetness balanced by the English-variety hops.
History and Style
E.S.B. is an English-style pale ale. Despite the fact that E.S.B. stands for Extra Special Bitter, the style is actually renowned for achieving great balance of malt sweetness and hop bitterness. Our version of this classic style is made with Goldings hops and fermented with English Ale yeast. The label art is a nod to the iconic and quirky history of British motoring.
Tasting Notes
E.S.B. pours clear copper with a tight white foam. The aroma offers both biscuity malt and floral hop notes. The flavour features balanced caramel sweetness and hop bitterness. The finish is remarkably smooth.

| 2019 DN Canadian Championships Kingston
This past Sunday the 2019 DN Canadian Championships were held out on the Kingston Harbour front with boats coming from as far away as Halifax, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New York, Michigan, Montreal, Hamilton, Ottawa and Kingston.
23 DN Ice Boats in all lined up for the 6 races that were smoothly run by our own Peter Kraszewski who got many comments from the skippers for getting the races off with out any delays. Peter also had help from eight score keepers who did an awesome job keeping track of the boats doing the three lap races. Thanks to all on behave of the fleet. We really appreciate the hard work standing on the ice collecting all the boat numbers as they cross the line.
The ice conditions were perfect for the regatta with boats hitting speeds in excess of 45 knots which made for some exciting sailing. Masts were popped out beyond their capabilities for three of the boats who unfortunately experienced their mast break. And when you asked each of them all about the mast break, they all said that the were going the fastest all day when it happened. Congratulations to James Thieler from RI, for winning the Canadian Title along with Guy Lovejoy from N.Y., in second and Peter Van Rossem Third. We also had John Curtis with a respectable seventh place along with Jim Foster, ROBIN Wynn-Edwards and Colin Duncan representing KYC as well. Results can be found in the regatta section of the KYC Web Site or click

One last mention from the fleet… we always are reminded of how much fun it is for the competitors to sail from KYC. Most often, DN Ice Boats race in places nowhere near any facility. The fleet thanks KYC for hosting and they all look forward to coming back. Thanks KYC!
