Bar Hours
The bar is now open 7 days a week!
(Mon-Fri 4pm-9pm, Sat-Sun 11am-6pm)Starting May 2, the bar will start their regular summer hours of
11am--10pm every day of the week,
and the Kitchen will be open open 11am-9pm every day of the week.Bring on the summer!

Safety Officer Course
~June 1-2~
This Safety Officer Training Program was developed to enhance the experience of competitors at regattas.The course will be co-sponsored by Ontario Sailing, CORK / Sail Kingston and Kingston Yacht Club. It will be conducted over two days and result in certification.
The Certificate will be recognized and provided by Ontario Sailing.Click here for more information

The Brigantine is celebrating their 60th year of their sail training program. Many exciting events are planned to honour the occasion.

Robert Davis wins WesMex Regatta
Robert competed in the WesMex Regatta held at Vallarta Yacht Club ( Puerto Vallarta Mexico) this past weekend to wrap up three weeks of training in Mexico.Robert won the event with a race to spare after a tight battle all weekend with fellow Canadian Sailing Team members Evert McLaughlin (2nd) and Tom Ramshaw (3rd). Results here.
Robert is now at home for a week before heading to Europe for Eurosaf events in Lake Garda, Italy and Medemblik, Netherlands.
Race Management Course
Wednesday, May 8th. 18:30-23:00hrsRunning sailboat races can be great fun!
This short course will give participants a chance to learn about race management and the things a race committee does.
Registered participants will receive an Assistant Race Officer Certificate from Ontario Sailing. This is the first of four levels of Sail Canada certification.

Shark Race Committee
On Saturday, May 11th KYC will host
the Kingston-Quinte Shark Team Racing Challenge.We need volunteers to help run the races.

The Club Sharks are in need of some upgraded sails! If you have a set of sails that are collecting dust in your garage, are in good condition, not too stretched out, and you would be willing to donate them, please get in touch. Contact: chris.walmsley@kingstonyachtclub.ca
